Teodric is a retired Warden living quietly in the lower Market Tiers. Maruk trusted him enough to write to him about concerns at the boundary before disappearing.

What He Knows

Teodric can confirm that Maruk was worried about "something wrong with the boundary" and that he told Maruk to drop it. He carries visible guilt about that advice.

If the party finds him, he initially frames Maruk's concerns as paranoia. Getting him to open up past the guilt should be a social challenge that pays off later.

Open Use

Teodric may have continued Maruk's investigation quietly after the disappearance, or he may have stopped out of fear. Either version works as a later pressure point.
